Carroll/Swansea update

|

Andy-Carroll-West-Ham_3126805Andy Carroll is fully expected to be back for the weekend clash against Swansea City.

Carroll was suffering from tiredness and a minor ankle which is believed to be related to a knock he took in training.

But a source confirmed this morning that the big fella will be back on duty for the clash in Wales.

He said: “He’d played all over Christmas and suffered a minor injury in training but he will be okay for Swansea.

“We will check Alex Song before the game but we are obviously hopeful he will also make the match following his trip to Cameroon.”

All sounds a bit iffy to me . ,, carroll !
But one thing is really starting to bother me and all other supporters ; the continued use of Kevin Nolan is costing us our ” new found ” style and overall performance .
We were 10 against 11 again in the FA cup game at Goodison , just as we were against Arsenal . We seem to be regressing to our old style where Nolan loses the ball or doesn’t know where to play it . Zarate going on loan to QPR is also rather baffling . Another point is just why nobody is capable or willing to sort Morrison out . That is a huge talent that needs phycolgical help and fine combing for the future …. I for one would be very happy to see him taken under the wing of a Guru to get himself back on track . I most certainly wouldn’t like to see him go . Anyway , let’s try to get back to winning ways starting with a win against Swansea in the league and win in replay against Everton . We want some silverware .

We were / are a far more effective unit without Nolan ,, so why he is being picked so often is a mystery to us all . He ( Nolan ) has had a good career up to now , but surely he belongs to the Championship . No shame on him , but his Premiership days should be numbered .
I can understand Big Sam’s faith in him due to their long relationship , but things have moved on since His younger and better years .

Great news! We are going to need A fully fit and firing AC over the coming weeks. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but I now wish more than ever he was rested for the arse game(should have started with sakho/Valencia) And then he might have been fit for the toffee’s game last night where he would have run amok! COYI!
