Change could be afoot for Spurs

|

Spurs could be set to make a number of changes ahead of tonight’s huge London derby against the Hammers.

Antonio Conte’s side are one of just three unbeaten sides in the Premier League, having beaten Southampton, Wolves, and Nottingham Forest, and drawn 2-2 with Chelsea.

There are likely to be a number of changes, however, when they take on the Irons, and that could open the door to a first defeat of the season!

Rodrigo Bentancur sustained a head injury at the weekend and reports have suggested that he is dealing with concussion, meaning he would have to be absent from this evening’s team.

That suggests that Yves Bissouma, the summer signing from Brighton, could be drafted in to make his debut.

Elsewhere, Son Heung-Min has yet to score this season and could be dropped, leading to a first start for Richarlison, who was pilloried for disrespecting Forest at the weekend by juggling the ball.

Cristian Romero is unlikely to be fit, while Ivan Perisic played at the weekend and is 33, meaning Ryan Sessegnon is likely to be called upon to play at left wing-back.

The Hammers are likely to see a real opportunity to land a bitter blow on their London rivals this evening.

I see that as them being stronger.
Their defence is the weak link but will Moyes go more attacking than usual. He won’t want to lose to help continue a run together.
