Christ what a miserable bunch. Someone has to spend Christmas with them.
sorry the new stadiums not a bit closer for the bloke who lives just round the corner of the old ground. That must have been really handy for him. And sorry for the bloke who misses the hotdog and pin badge stalls on the way to the ground. Guess he’ll have to order his pin badges online from now on and wait till he gets to the ground before he has his hot dog. More expensive hotdog but less likely to give you a stomach disorder.
Not posted on here before. But just wanted to say as a season ticket holder of both stadiums. What is all this leaving your team in the hour of need all about. We have all been hammers through some pretty tragic times in the last 15 years. Im not pro stadium but I don’t care what stadium you are at you plays like that in any ground it will be a flat place. I was their in bad times. We are yet to see what the stadium can offer and a big reason is the level of football on show. It will get better and your team need you not to quit
But you wont be there next May. you’ve already declared you wont renew. Every fan has the right to their opinion but ffs don’t keep on repeating the same miserable lament, post after post after post. It just gets boringly repetitive. If you aren’t renewing ok fine but please don’t keep on moaning. Just bow out with a bit of dignity and don’t keep on trying to get everybody else to agree with you and also not renew. Are you seriously telling us that you’ve not been despondent before? I cannot remember that many years when I ain’t become despondent but hey ho that’s what being a HAMMER entails. We all knew what we were signing up for. COYI X
What’s wrong with saying you don’t like the new Stadium or the new ‘corporate culture’?
I’ve supported West Ham for a long time and had some great times and some dire times – it just so happens that the football being played currently is amongst the worst I can remember – why can’t I say that without being labelled a whinger or a moaner?
Roll on next May!
Yea finally found a way COYI X
How about winkle tickler?
Dad took me at 8 years old, 67 now, of course things change. I didn’t like building a new end. I absolutely loved the old north bank but if you stand still in this day and age you get left behind. So I’m not completely happy but I do realise the the need to progress but I also realise the fact that some supporters are not prepared or ready to accept changes. However we can’t go back to Upton Park so we must move on. If our loyal old guard cannot reconcile themselves with this, then leave with dignity and let the club move on. What we don’t need ,in these troubled times is so called West Ham fans slagging the club/players/manager non stop. Sometimes I read comments and think “thats not a Hammer, thats a ***. ffs it’s still our team so please get behind them and stop griping. It don’t help. COYI X
I am with Sean on this one, when you can see the emotion in those that are unhappy you can understand it and wish they felt differently but sadly change was needed we would never be able to compete if we didn’t move to a bigger stadium. Ultimately there is no going back now and it is time to look forward and create a new future whilst wishing those well that we have shared past experiences with but who no longer feel apart of the club COYI !!!
