Chelsea fans accused of coining West Ham kids

Chelsea fans have been accused of throwing coins at young West Ham fans towards the end of yesterday’s match which ended in a draw at the London Stadium.

One eye witness in the upper tier close to the away fans accused Chelsea supporters of throwing coins at West Ham kids around the 70 minute mark of the game.

The incident happened in block 217 between rows 40-50 with coins coming from the Chelsea away end located in block 218. London Stadium stewards were handed a 20 pence coin but reports suggest other missiles were also thrown at West Ham.

Met Police confirmed that they were trying identity the culprits by revealing on social media “Off the pitch though four arrests made for ticket touting. All currently being dealt with in custody. And a post match mop up to try and identify the idiots throwing missiles across the Seg line at the end.”

Claret and Hugh understand that Met Police, West Ham and London Stadium 185 will review the incident  on CCTV footage on Tuesday.

One comment on “Chelsea fans accused of coining West Ham kids

  1. There was non-stop media outrage when there were accusations of coins being thrown by West Ham supporters last season. I’ll just sit here and wait for the media to twist themselves in a knot over this.

Any time now, I can feel it.
