West Ham may be forced to move quicker than they would like should they be serious about a bid for Christian Benteke.
We are aware that the Belgian is not every fan’s choice but there is no question that Slaven Bilic likes him – as has been reported here – and that he remains a possibility.
However, there are reports this morning that Chelsea could turn to him should they fail in an expected move for Roman Lukaku.
We have been told by a Hammers insider that whilst Benteke e is on the radar, it is always difficult to do business with business with Liverpool.
Our main source said: : “Fees and the wage levels are always hard with them. It makes it hard to do business. Despite that he remains in our minds.”
However, that may have to change if – as reported – incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte moves in. He is allegedly keen on Lukaku but ready to move on Benteke should he fail to clinch that deal
Agree with most of the above from bubs.I wish Chelsea would move on Benteke and put this sorry saga to rest.Still like the other Belgian Michy and of course Wilson from Bournemouth.
Just go to Manchester with a case with £17 million in it give it to City and bring back Bony,
Drive to Birmingham give them a option on Valencia and give them £10 million and bring back Barahino,
Put AC on EBay and Drive to Bournemouth and spend the Money on Wilson if Sak wants to leave use the money to balance the books,
If life was that easy
