Chelsea’s Diego Costa has claimed the south west London outfit no longer want him and that will cause massive interest at the London Stadium as the club eye Michy Batshuayi
Only yesterday ClaretandHugh revealed that a massive domino effect could be about to be set in process should the champions make a move for Romelu Lukaku or any other striker target which now looks very likely.
In West Ham terms it’s a fascinating development given the Batshuayi factor.
The BBC has reported Costa as saying: “”I’m a Chelsea player, but they do not want me there.
“Antonio Conte has told me by message that I do not follow at Chelsea and that’s it. Conte said he did not count on me for next season.”
It’s unlikely that Batshuayi will step up to the Number One slot with Chelsea keen to bring Lukaku or somebody like him back to the Bridge.
The Hammers are expected to make their opening gambit for the Belgian international when the transfer window is open next week.
