Chelsea Valencia offer revealed

|

Chelsea_2_West_Brom_0_The_Blues_go_marching_on_(15672771328)Chelsea have made an inquiry for Enner Valencia in a swap deal involving Loic Remy plus £5 million.

Speculation on forums has been circulating all day that a top Premier League club is keen to do a deal with one of the Hammers first teamers.

And ClaretandHugh has been told over the last few minutes that Valencia is indeed the player in question and it’s Jose Mourinho who is behind the move.

And we understand that Remy is the bait being offered in a deal which would see Chelsea also part with £5 million after triggering his £10.5 million release clause from Queens Park Rangers last year.

Hammers insiders insist they won’t entertain a player plus cash deal and speaking to Claretandhugh one said: “We’ll be glad when this window closes.”

However, it would be wrong to ‘never say never’ but at this stage it looks unlikely despite the inquiry valuing the Ecuadorian at around £3 million more than we paid for the player.

I like Valencia but will BFS use him when Sakho is fit at the expense of Nolan or Carroll,we wanted Remy for the last 3,years and 5 mil on top could give us enough to replace Reid, personally I would put the none for sale sign up now and wait for the summer and see where the 2 Daves take us.

Valencia’s body language when hauled off by BFS was a concern for me. After getting slated by BFS after the FA Cup game at Everton away I really feel for him. He has lots of potential but a manager who has no faith in him. Remy reminds me in the way he plays of Sakho so would be a good addition and has a proven goal scoring record in the Prem. I would rather Sam went than Valencia, but that doesn’t appear to be happening just yet. Remy plus £5m to invest in a good centre back should Reid go, or put towards clinching Jenkinson makes sense to me. I can see Valencia being a big player for Chelsea which would again prove that BFS is not the right manager for us. I hope Valencia gets the manager he deserves and we get a good deal rather then BFS depreciating the player and not getting any ROI

As already stated I would rather see Allardyce go and keep Valencia. His body language is not good at present and that is due to the manager not playing him to his strengths.Allardyce is an absolute moron the way he mollycoddles his favourites and shuns the talented ones.Valencia is very quick across the pitch and can open up any defence.Haven’t seen too any others than Sahko or Kouyate do that.

Snatch their hands off – Remy for Valencia and some cash sounds a brilliant deal to me!

Three things seem wrong with this deal to me.

Jose’ obviously doesn’t rate remy but rates valencia.
Remy turned us down in the past so **** him! We are a far better team now and have better attacking options. So quite frankly we don’t him.
The attacking three of carroll, Sakho and Valencia are a very promising work in progress and have so much attacking potential that to break it up would be madness.

So all in all thanks, but no thanks! COYI!

This is a two for one deal in reality! Taking it is common sense.

  • Willtell says:

Remy is another version of Sakho not Valencia. The two are not comparable and if Chelsea don’t want him – presumably because he isn’t good enough – why would WH…?

  • Hammerman6 says:

Jose M is no mug and has a good eye for quality…….I think BFS is missing a trick here with Valencia utilising him in a roll he is not accustomed to, or likes.
If Chelski want him, I say hang on to him till we get a manager who appreciates his speed, shooting power, and his incredible agility in the air for a small man. Having said that, Remi would fit the diamond better playing wide right, with Carroll, Sahko & Downing.
There could be a silver lining to this deal.

  • hammer4life says:

I’d do the deal. Remy has a better scoring record in the Premier League for a start. I’m worried that Valencia is not physical enough for this League. He spends so much time on his arse looking for free kicks and he doesn’t track back enough, Not convinced by him yet.
