Chelsea video rumour debunked

Suggestions that the Zouma video that went viral dated from his time playing at Chelsea have been denied by a Hammers club source this afternoon.

Rumours were growing on social media that the video was from two years ago and that the West London club hushed it up but we have been told that that is not true and it is pure fiction

Zouma joined West Ham from Chelsea for £29.8m on a four-year deal in late August last year.

Fake stories suggested the RSPCA already knew about the incident before the video went viral and was published by the Sun last week.

The French International has been fined two weeks wages which is the maximum permitted in the Premier League but we are told his basic wage is nothing near the £125,000 per week quoted by the media.

While it might have been convenient to shift some of the blame on rivals Chelsea there is sadly no substance in this fake news.
