|

chicJavier Hernandez has a 75% chance of recovery from a hamstring strain we have been told this morning. The Mexican striker pulled up in training on Tuesday and was immediately sent for a scan in hospital the same afternoon.

He missed training at Rush Green on Wednesday but was able to meet the Royal couple at the London Stadium yesterday afternoon. It is hoped that he will return to training at the London Stadium today where medical staff will assess his fitness.

A senior source told Claret and Hugh  “Chicharito has a  75% chance of playing this Friday”

Hamstring injury… is it worth risking him.
Just start Sakho, and bring on Martinez if needs be. We have enough with Arnautovic, lanzini and Antonio to destroy Brighton.
I just think a game like this isn’t worth risking him and then not having him for 2 months instead of 1 game.

Hernandez goes to strike the ball into an empty net and PING! Hamstring gone, out till 2028.

    You know it.
