Javier Hernandez missed out on Mexico’s 1-0 win over Poland on Monday night through injury as he was withdrawn from the squad.
The Mexican striker appeared to have suffered a hamstring issue and was helped off the pitch after pulling up in pain on 51 minutes and was unable to continue during his country’s 3-3 draw with Belgium last week.
West Ham has remained quiet on the extent of the injury of their top earner but his absence for Mexico appears to confirm his injury and doubts will now surface about his fitness to be available for selection this Sunday as West Ham takes on Watford.
Last month Chicharito picked up a hamstring problem in training at Rush Green and was sent to the hospital for an MRI scan but the club later said it was not as bad as first feared.
Don’t think it is terrible news unless Moyes decides to play Carroll and lump it forward . Bring in Martinez and see what he can do . The team sheet will tell me / us ? all we need to know about the rest of the season . If Noble and Carroll are on it more of the same and we are going nowhere . Has Moyes the balls to pick the “best ” players or will he just be another dildo boys muppet . COYI
time for the SAK to step forward and be counted
Agree Hammerjoe. We have to make use of this guy. Unless he is just refusing to play I can’t see why you would not play him.
+1 lads ! We will find out on Sunday !đŸ˜‰
Oh Frindlies… What a water I think will be ok without him but I kind of wanted Chicharito there from start to work w Moyes…
And hopefully its just 1 game off not 6weeks plus
The bright side for me is sakho gets 6 weeks to shine , and the poppodom will break down if the training is as intense as we have been told it is , hopefully the no work no play applies to him as well ! Otherwise it will cause bad feeling from those who are grafting if it doesn’t apply to him, shame about the hammy ? Bad timing , đŸ’© happens , its a west ham legacy with our strikers lol , we still got Martinez as well !đŸ˜‰
