Chicharito slams Ronaldo fake news

cristiano-ronaldo-and-chicharito-kept-a-heartwarm-2-3174-1430165543-13_dblbigJavier Hernandez has denied a fake news report claiming that Cristiano Ronaldo donated one million Euros to his fund for the victims of the recent earthquake in Mexico.

The Mexican earthquake has claimed over 320 lives so far and caused widespread damage to buildings in the West Ham striker’s home country.

The story was made broken by a Spanishish journalist in the US which was carried on Fox News which claimed that Ronaldo contacted Hernandez about how best to use a one million Euro donation, but the West Ham striker labelled the claims as lies. Hernandez, who played alongside with Ronaldo at Real Madrid, posted on social media ‘Lie, I have not been contacted. But I hope to help our country in any way!’

After the quake, the Mexico international wrote on Instagram: “It’s time to help and I would like to announce the initiative @YoXMex. Only together can we move forward. Please donate here https://www.youcaring.com/yoxmex.“People around the world, I would ask you to help the people of my country. We need a lot of help after what happened. You can donate in the link in my bio. Thank you all!”
