City concede to Hammers

So West Ham missed out on breaking Manchester City’s unbeaten run in the Premier League which now extends to 27 matches – winning 24. It is their second-longest such run in their history, after 28 games between April and December 2017.

Michail Antonio became the first West Ham player to score home and away against Manchester City in a league season since Iain Dowie in 1995-96.

Antonio’s equaliser was the first home Premier League goal City have conceded since 15th December – a Dias own goal against West Brom – and it ended their 629-minute run (10.5 hours) without conceding a goal.  City have only conceded 16 goals all season with many of them coming at the beginning of the season when they started poorly.

The Hammers drew 1-1 with City at the London Stadium back in October last year.

The lads can be very proud scoring against City at the Etihad and keeping the defeat down to a solitary one goal difference.
