ClaretandHugh speak to TalkSport for Bilic update

TalkSport radio called on ClaretandHugh this morning to update them on the Slaven Bilic situation and David Moyes as a possible replacement.

C&H Associate editor Sean Whetstone spoke to Russ Hargreaves on the early breakfast show just before 6am to say that the decision has been made and Slaven Bilic will no longer be the West Ham manager by the end of this week. David Moyes, Sam Allardyce, Alan Pardew, Roland Koeman and Harry Redknapp were also discussed as the next manager of West Ham with a 75% chance Moyes will soon be named the 16th manager of the Hammers this week.

  1. So Sean you’d rather not talk about the negatives of Moyes, but then happily discuss everyone else’s negatives? You sound like a club puppet being wheeled out to do the dirty work for the dildo brothers. Meanwhile, in the real world the vast majority of West Ham fans are horrified by the notion of Moyes.

    • I think that’s a bit harsh Ray, to me it sounded as if Sean was resigned and trying for his own sake to try to think positively because the alternative is not worth depressing himself with. He said Moyes wouldn’t have been his choice, am fairly certain he feels the exact same way most of us do about it and the promises of getting to the next level, we just have to hope it works out but the Jury’s out until we see an upturn in performances…

  2. Moyes Out …

  3. Sean talking sense – not over enthusiastic about Moyes but sensible.

Don’t get him started about the London Stadium!

  4. 25% !!! Fingers crossed then lol!! The slug was actually considered , ???

    • As a non season ticket holder I would have backed the slug for a few months to organise us out of the relegation fight, it would have been the only time in the last couple of years I was glad not to have an ST.

  5. A thought it was a good interview look at positives if Moyes becomes Manager I’ll back him tho we hope we get the old Moyee that’s a lot to bet on tho. But he will have a massive point to prove which could go in our favour.
One name of avialable I would have mentioned is Hiddink and of the avaialbe he would be one my top choice bc has been Caretaker has PL mgr experience clubs who he has been with would have him back in a min. Players respond to him & love him. Won titles manage at the top beeen #2 Natl team & mid table teams in many leagues. He has experience and good results
