A surprisingly sizeable majority of Irons fans are expecting a top eight finish from the team this season
That’s the result of a ClaretandHugh poll asking fans where they believed the club would finish at the end of manager Slaven Bilic’s first season in charge.
A total of 649 fans (47.65 per cent) voted the Hammers into the top eight with 391 (28.71 pc) believing a top 10 finish is within their grasp.
Thirteen per cent (177) see us as a top six club and 29 hopefuls (2.13 pc) expect the team to make it into the top four.
Eighty voters (5,87 pc) expect a top 12 finish, 22 (1.62) believe we are looking at twelfth or lower whilst just 14 (1.02) see the club being relegated
A total of 1,362 fans voted in the poll which makes it official as far as Mori is concerned.
Hardly surprising considering the fantastic squad we’ve got now. Frankly, anything less than top ten would be embarrassing.
