  1. Yes, Andy Carroll’s winning goal against Chelsea – definitely the highlight of the Season for me – what a day!

The lowlight I’m afraid was getting stuck in a massive traffic jam on the A406/A13 arriving fifteen minutes late and then driving round and round looking for a parking space – the only good thing of that night was the result against Newcastle!

Let’s hope for a great 2016 – remember we don’t have to agree on everything but we’re all Hammers – Happy New Year to Hugh and his team and to all fellow Hammers.

  2. Happy new year! My favourite moment of 2015? Andy Carrolll winning goal against Southampton just the other day. That goal was massive. The difference between bottom half of table on a downer feeling like we’re never going to win a game ever again, or top half of the table on a complete high and a launch pad to great things in 2016.

  3. Thanks for all the Irons news you have brought us in 2015 Hugh.

  4. Yes, Mourinho looks absolutely despondent there. A man engrossed in abject failure. Yes, thank you for the work you do in producing this site Hugh Southon. By far one of the best, if not the best, Hammers sites. May the new year bring yourself, the club & all of the supporters the very best. West Ham 4 Ever.

  5. I wasn’t fortunate enough to go to any away games in 2015; however, carroll’s winner against Chelsea was the highlight for me. The anticipation of that goal coming and then when it did was pure ecstasy. Those moments in football are why you go each week. The ground erupted, the atmosphere was amazing and I was on a high for a good few days.

Nobody could have predicted the away game results, and watching final score for the Anfield match was something special.

Bilic has been brilliant. I must admit, I thought taking over from Sam was more difficult than people might think. Most of us were at the point of disillusion when it came to watching some of Sam’s games, though we all knew that he was an experienced leader who would keep us out of trouble going into the OS. Bilic has come in and trumped Sam. He’s a better leader, he’s a Technically better, he’s got style, I love his interviews, he’s a hammer, he gets results and since redknapp when we finished 5th, this is the best football and points tally I’ve seen.

Lastly, a massive thank you to Gold and Sullivan for their loyalty, dedication, passion for the club and vision with their appointments. Let’s not forget that they took over the club when it was in a dire position. We could have easily been a Leeds, Carlton or Sheffield Utd. With thanks to them, we’re a genuine top 8 PL club with a top World class stadium on the horizon.

i can see 2016 being a successful and exciting year. COYI.

  6. The highlight for me was the transfer market activity,
Who would have thought little old us would pick up such great players,
    Payet,Lanzini,Antonio,Moses,Ogbonna,Obiang,Samulsun,Song,
And Jenkinson ,Hendrie Randolf and Jelavic A Whole new team to add to some great players already here,
And the biggest of them all SLAV and his gang
2016 here we come another entertaining white knuckle ride as usual for every hammer fan
Thanks Hugh and Sean Happy new year
