Club director confirms CandH Kral story

Spartak Moscow club director Yevgeny Melezhikov has confirmed the CandH story regarding Alex Kral!

We reported back at the start of June that the Hammers had not made any moves to bring the midfielder into the club this summer.

There had been any number of links between the Irons and  the Czech Republic international, primarily stemming from the fact that he is an international team-mate of both Tomas Soucek and Vlad Coufal.

Kral played in the 2-0 win over Scotland as the Czechs began their Euro 2020 campaign with a win earlier this week.

There have been reports after reportsagain earlier this week that we could make a bid after the Euros but we continued to maintain that there has been no contact with Spartak over any deal.

And that has now been confirmed by Melezhikov, who says that no club has come forward for the midfielder.

Quoted by Soccer.RU, he said: “There have not been any proposals for Kral yet, nor have any contacts with West Ham on it.”

We don’t like to toot our own horn but, clearly, our sources were spot on his time around!

  1. And let’s hope it stays this way based on his performance yesterday.
Coufal set up the winning goal and was brilliant, as always.

  2. Another one bites the dust lol ⚒

  3. It’s TRUE that Kral never stood out against the Scots. Patrik Schick, however did. Players can have an off day like the rest of us.
I was hoping that the 19 year old also linked with the hammers would get a game however the 15 minutes or so he never got time to shine.
So I now look forward to friday game against Croatia.
