The club has officially updated season ticket holders on the band 4 process for the Olympic Stadium.
In the official monthly Stadium newsletter the club report say:
“It has been little over a week now since Band 4 appointments began at the New StadiumReservation Centre in Westfield Stratford City and the Club are pleased to report record numbers thus far.
“Day one saw just shy of 400 Season Tickets secured for the first season on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, while figures topped 1,000 for the week as a whole. A large number of supporters have opted to take advantage of the new affordable prices by upgrading to a Band 3 Season Ticket at the new Stadium, which is some £51 cheaper than a current Band 4 seat at the Boleyn Ground.
“If you are currently a Band 4 Season Ticket Holder at the Boleyn Ground, you can expect to receive email notification of your personal appointment in the coming weeks. Band 4 appointments are likely to run into early 2016.
The Q&A section the club confirm for the first time that plus two guests of existing band 4 lower tier season ticket holders cannot obtain seats in the lower tier.
The club says “In order to protect those who currently sit in the lower tiers behind the goal at the Boleyn Ground, existing Season Ticket Holders inviting two additional supporters to join them as new Season Ticket Holders are not being offered lower tier seating behind the goal. They will be reserved for existing Season Ticket Holders with comparable seats at the Boleyn Ground.”
The latest confirmation appears to confirm the article Claret and Hugh ran earlier this week when an insider told us: “People are offered a comparable seat at a comparable price when they attend the appointments”
Further feedback since our article suggests that the first ten rows in the Olympic Stadium lower tier behind the goal will be Band 4 at £499 with all the rows behind that band 3 at £599.
