Club supremo claims Hammers target could leave

Torino chairman Urbana Cairo has appeared to confirm that Hammers target Gleison Bremer could leave the club in January.

The central defender has been linked with a host of clubs in the Premier League, per Sport Witness, with the Hammers touted as a potential destination for him in January.

The Irons, of course, are desperate to sign a centre-back after the injuries sustained by both Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna.

That may well mean that names are being thrown out at random but Torino’s chief has now appeared to make it clear that Bremer can leave if he so wishes.

Asked about his future and the prospect of an exit in January, he said: “I don’t know, we’ll see”.

Torino Granata believe that those quotes will have only emboldened Bremer’s suitors, who are aware that his contract is set to expire in 2023 and he has yet to put pen to paper on fresh terms.

That could mean that he’s available at a knock-down price, provided whoever buys him moves quickly!
