Carlton Cole will be fit to play against Southampton tomorrow despite rumours the big man is suffering from a back problem.
With Marco Borriello sidelined with a calf injury, it had looked earlier this morning as though the Irons would be forced to “park the bus” at home tomorrow.
But a training ground source revealed to us a few minutes ago: “Carlton will be ok but Marco looks certain to miss the game with a calf injury.
“Carlton has been looking for a full 90 minutes and this looks to be his opportunity. There are no other problems on the injury front.”
