Collins gets return date

CollinsJames Collins has targeted the away match at Hull on Monday September 15 for his return.

And ClaretandHugh has learned this evening that club medics confidently expect his hamstring injury to have healed in time for the match.

It emerged today that the central defender had  suffered the injury in training eight days back and has since been forced to withdraw from the Wales international squad.

It was feared that he would face a long lay off but a well placed Boleyn source has told us within the last few minutes: “We expect Ginge to be back for the Hull game.

“We are doing all we can to get  a loan defender in but we are sure as we an be that James will be fit after the international break.”
