Cornet called up for FA Cup replay

How West Ham line up against Bristol City

David Moyes has decided to give Maxwel Cornet his chance in the team for tonight’s game at Bristol City as the Irons bid to win a replay which will take them into the fourth round of the FA Cup.

And Aaron Cresswell has also been included which suggests that Emerson has been pushed into a left sided midfield role as we look to beat a Bristol City team which lost at Preston at the weekend.

Given the problems we have with injured and missing players, we look pretty strong with a team which hopefully will have enough to beat the Championship side which has struggled in the League over recent weeks.

Vladi Coifal is at right back with fully fit Konstantionos Mavropanos fit to join captain Kurt Zouma at central defence.

Across midfield we see Tomas Soucek, James Ward Prowse with Said Benrahma and Cornet supporting Danny Ings up front.

West Ham boast a wealth of young talent on the substitutes bench, with the likes of Kaelan Casey, Ollie Scarles and Divin Mubama looking to earn valuable senior minutes. Both Casey and Scarles made their first-team debuts in the UEFA Europa Conference League last season, away to FCSB in the group stage.

Northern Ireland international forward Callum Marshall  could make his senior debut if called upon by boss Moyes.

West Ham United: Fabiański, Coufal, Mavropanos, Zouma ©, Cresswell, Emerson, Souček, Ward-Prowse, Benrahma, Cornet, Ings
Subs: Areola (GK), Anang (GK), Johnson, Ogbonna, Casey, Mubama, Marshall, Scarles
