Coronavirus: Premier League fears rise

|

The Premier League is holding secret briefing sessions with clubs over plans and preparations for the spread of the Coronavirus.

Although only 17 people have been infected in the UK so far governments and stock markets appear to think a pandemic is now inevitable.

The government would most likely suspend major public gatherings including Premier League following lead of countries like Japan and Italy.

The Premier League is looking at different scenarios should the virus spread wider in the UK population.

Options include the postponement of league fixtures or playing games behind closed doors.

Claret and Hugh approached the Premier League, London Stadium 185 and West Ham United press offices with a number of questions about Coronavirus preparations and planning but after 24 hours we have yet to receive a response or statement from any of the three organisations.

The Premier League is currently scheduled to end on Sunday 17 May 2020 but that could well be extended.

This is the biggest load of nonsense since were were all going to die from that African based virus a few years back. And having worked in financial markets for many years, I can tell you that they thrive on what’s occurring now, it’s called Volatility, and dealers are loving it. Our Liberal elite newsman have nothing to report since the end if the Brexit fiasco, and now this is their pet subject, regardless of all the largely unnecessary panic it appears to be causing

It’s a very dangerous situation and shouldn’t be ignored . The worlds population is in grave danger of not taking extreme measures . If that means narrowing the infection zones then so be it . Huge gatherings of people only helps the virus to spread . Let’s all just hope it can be overcome . , but it needs people to be serious and sensible , this encroaching epidemic and possible Pandemic should be a serious concern for all .
