Coufal makes West Ham future clear

|

Vladimir Coufal completed a century of games for West Ham against Arsenal on Sunday and produced a warrior like display into the bargain.

With a year left on his contract and despite being linked with Bayern Munich the Czech Republic right back has made it clear he is ready to add more games to his Hammers career.

The club will definitely be adding the year’s option and possibly more as they move into next season hopefully as a Premier League club which looks more likely than a few weeks ago.

Commenting on his appearances so far Vladi said: “One hundred games for West Ham is incredible to me and I want to add more to that.”

That his 100th should come against the League leaders in a game which saw the team produce possibly their best performance of the season was more than appropriate.

And he revealed: “To come back like that was because something clicked among the team, We could have won, we could have lost.

“We all believed it was possible to come back in those circumstances. I always believe even though it is tough to go on believing sometimes.

“We were a bit scared at 2-0 down but the team did brilliantly and it was a result of which to be proud.”
