Coufal proud as Irons and Prague fans come together

Vladi Coufal is delighted that a two way relationship between Hammers and Prague fans has started across the globe.

He and Tomas Soucek have been amazing additions to the Irons side and the vast majority of us Hammers will have already adopted the Czech Republic as our second side in the upcoming Euro tourney.

Both the right back and central midfielder look automatic inclusions and I’ll certainly be cheering the pair on when they take on Scotland on Monday night.

Sorry to my Scottish mates but that’s just the way it is and one wonders where David Moyes will find his loyalties lying.

It really is a two way situation between the Prague and Hammers fans according to Coufal who claims the hammers have gained many fans in his home country as a result to the duo’s transfer and the sixth placed finish last season.

Talking to www.whufc.com he explained how proud proud of the role they are playing to promote their country in the UK, on and off the pitch along with Libor Sečka, the football-obsessed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United Kingdom .

He said: “Me and Tomáš represent our Czech Republic here in England and West Ham has found many new fans in the Czech Republic as well, so it’s similar and I hope this connection will continue .”
