COYI we really don’t need this situation

|

It is really difficult to understand why this Jesse Lingard scenario is going on because quite frankly there seems little point in him joining the club at all.

And were it anybody but him training at Rush Green you can bet your life the club would have given the chance of signing him a “thanks but no thanks” treatment.

Today I was told the jury is still out. Well, it’s time in came in and said “No way.”

At this moment we have Lucas Paquita, Edson Alvaraz, James Ward Prowse, Mohammed Kudus, Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma, Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen as very decent midfielders indeed.

Why do we need a half fit Lingard on what is reported would be a short term contract anyway unless of course he can play left back? No not even then!

This is not the same player who arrived at the club a couple of seasons back and produced a great half loan spell in his bid to impress Manchester United as he looked for an Old Trafford deal.

Sorry, I don’t get it – big no thanks from me. Save the money Mr Moyes in order to be able to offer decent personal to a player we really do need!
