Aaron Cresswell has signed off for the summer with a word on behalf of departed boss Sam Allardyce.
The former Ipswich left back who became Hammer of the Year in his debut season has expressed his thanks to the former manager.
Cresswell tweeted: “Looking forward to next season. Thanks again for an unforgettable season. Also to the gaffer who gave me the opportunity to play for the club and has been brilliant with me.
He added: “Been a disappointing end to the season but just want to thank everyone for your support all year round, week in, week out.”
Well done Cressie, decent first season for you.Get the final praise out of the way for hippo then its time to move on & start praising a new manager 😉
No problem with him thanking the former manager, that’s the way he sees it and now he’s looking forward.
TC in his latest column is still praising BFS saying it’s a huge gamble and he should’ve got a new contract at xmas, then he goes onto say his preference is Bilic but the board should contact an experienced ex-player for advice but his phone never rings. With views like that I wonder why.
TC is the last person i would want to see involved. He is more conservative & a splinter ass than most pundits i know.Yeah would have been a great idea to give hippo a new contract at the start of the year, then we would be stuck with him or paying huge amounts out to get rid of the festering boil of a man.
Its ok Aaron, well done chap. You have now got the genius out of your system, enjoy your holidays.
Good season boy don’t thank hippo because if you had played in Nolans position you would have got as much time on the pitch as Nene,
Forget him like we already have and over forward
Good luck next season you now have a challenger from Scotland for your place and Pottsy
Will be after it as well
Ex-Gaffer Aaron,he has gone.Dont worry the other guy will like you im sure 😉
After hearing week-in and week-out the words of the ex-manager, I believe those spoken by the players after his departure are quite clear in their contrast. And as much as I am pleased that they have chosen to rise above anything else, I don’t believe a word of it.
