We wish to point out that in our earlier story on Aaron Cresswell’s knee injury sources CandH never stated that the player was DEFINITELY out for SIX MONTHS.
It was made quite clear in our report that he may be out for as little as a month although it could be beyond that and possibly six months.
Since writing the story we have been told that the medics and staff remain apprehenive about the injury but until the player is scanned at Spire Roding Hospital on his return, no definite date for his likely return can be given.
Our source made it quite clear that was the case saying: ““It’s very early days so it’s impossible to be precise but it is a nasty knee injury and we will give more details as they become available.”
He speculated between a month and six months and we quoted him in good faith but until the injury is scanned and it’s discovered whether this is a soft tissue injury or a bigger problem there is no definite prediction on his length of absence.
There is a lot of anxiety among the staff and Slav himself has said it doesn’t look good but hopefully the situation was “over speculated” but until the scan results are in, no definite time can be given.
We only ever report what we are told and do not aim to produce shock horror stories.
Like everybody else we hope that the injury is not as serious as the backroom staff fear and will keep you updated.
I thought it
Was quite clear in the article it could also only be 4 weeks
So what is the problem.Other sites deriding the article no doubt. It is the nature of the beast I guess.
Why why why !!! – Such a key player !!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Even four weeks means we will start the PL without him. It’s sensible to discuss plan B.
Reading comments earlier you would think we only have one player able to play LB, we have cover for all areas. It’s unfortunate but not the end of the world.
