Cresswell deal has no escape clauses

Cresswell goalAaron Cresswell has signed a “no escape clauses” contract with West Ham!

The news that the left back and Hammer of the Year had signed a new deal was greeted with delight last night and the even better news is that he is locked down for the term of the contract.

Cresswell had no hesitation in signing a contract which will keep him at the club until  2020 and the package he has agreed to sign is a triumph for the club’s negotiating team.

In the light of keen interest in him from Manchester City and Chelsea, the Irons have demonstrated they are becoming a serious force in Premier League football.

The club are thrilled that the Liverpool born star has pledged himself to the club which will send a message to other players they are keen to sign.

ClaretandHugh was told exclusively: “Like every club, if a massive, massive offer comes in it has to be looked at but in terms of escape clauses there are none.

“Aaron will therefore stay at this football club for as long as we choose. Both sides could not be happier with the situation.”
