Cresswell gives his ‘take’ on points tally

aaroncresswell-e1444287834803Aaron Cresswell has suggested  the Hammers present points tally is proving unacceptable because of an over achievement last season.

With just 33 to their name and a season defining four games ahead, Cressie has his own ‘take’ on the issues currently being faced by the club.

At the same stage last season the Irons had collected 51 points and were looking a class team with serious European hopes.

Cresswell, however, attempted to bring some perspective into the discussion declaring:  “We want to get to that 40-point mark sooner rather than later.

But looking at last year, we finished seventh with 62 points and you could arguably say we overachieved last season.”

Meanwhile, Cresswell himself may face an uncertain weekend given the fine form of Arthur Masuaku when he appeared  as a sub in the game against Leicester City.

He showed fine defensive and offensive abilities and could well be in line for a start at Hull.

  1. Now is the time to rest Creswell & Noble & give the subs a chance we urgently need players with more pace, we also need Sako to come back & perform.
