Cresswell ready to achieve ultimate ambition

cresswellCandHWest Ham United duo Joe Hart and Aaron Cresswell have been named in the England squad for the Three Lions’ final two 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

And Cresswell immediately put his ultimate ambition on the line saying: “The main aim for me is to play well this season and go to the World Cup.

“It’s an ambition of every footballer to go to the best tournament in the world, so hopefully I can have a good year and we’ll see where we are come the end of the season.

“For me, playing for your country is the pinnacle of your career. It’s nice to be involved in games like we’ve had recently and play in stadiums like Wembley and the Stade de France. I’m delighted that we won the two games and with the experience of being part of it.”

Gareth Southgate’s side need just a point from their home Group F tie with Slovenia at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 5 October to secure their place in Russia.

Should they fail to draw with the Slovenians, a point from their final fixture with Lithuania in Vilnius on Sunday 8 October would suffice.

  1. It is funny Southgate made this whole poi t about getting regular starters In team but have Smalling don’t think he has started once Delph tho he did score a screamer I would send Hart back for Delph sorry now that will make some made but just don’t see the Long term in Hart just a loan. Financial just doesn’t make sense.

But I hope Cresswell gets to play and maybe boost his confidence bc since Cresswell got his call ups hasn’t been the Cressje we miss. 2015/2016 Creswell no call up.
He was great that season what happen? His he a one season wonder does he need the right management is Bilic a one season wonder as he has been called I dunno. But I feel like we have better Engalnd players then picked some area.
Then I think we have a starting 11 that should be 8-10 spot its all so confusing
