Cresswell: “We will never give up”

cress1Aaron Cresswell believes the Hammers showed a never-say-die spirit against Chelsea but admits the team showed the leaders too much respect today.

The hammers left back – talking to www.whufc.com said: “We knew it was going to be a difficult task here at Chelsea.

“Morgan (Amalfitano) had a chance in the last few minutes and maybe if that had gone in it would have been interesting.

“We’ve shown this year that we’ll never give up, no matter what score we go down. Maybe we gave them too much respect early on and then grew into the game in the second half.

“We didn’t really want it to end, but we knew it was going to be tough and we’ll look forward to the Arsenal game now.”
