Cresswell’s big chance…and Noble too!

CresswesthAaron Cresswell is being strongly tipped to land a place in Roy Hodgson’s squad for  the European Championship qualifier against Slovenia on November 15 and the  friendly against Scotland in Glasgow four days later.

Hodgson has said he will will field a team against Scotland that will give a chance to fringe players and hopefuls and according to the Sunday Mirror that could include Cresswell – 25 next month.

The left back has been in great form as the Hammers have soared up the League this season but such an honour would be an amazing step up for the Liverpool-born defender..

The consistency of West Ham midfielder Mark Noble may could also be rewarded.

  1. I thought yesterdays game was one of Cresswells better forgotten games. He was at fault for not playing safety first, and allowed Walters the cross. However i didn’t like the way we set up at the start,Amalfitano looked lost, and provided scant cover for cresswell. Not one of Nobles better games either.

  2. What is your continual obsession with “Noble for England ” ? He is not good enough . He is one paced… very slow … and totally out of his depth against mobile quality players . He has absolutely nothing to offer England as loyalty is not taken into consideration . Get a life .. if any midfielder from Hammers gets the nod it will be Downing who has 3 things Noble has not … pace .. crossing and goals ….

  3. …..but you give it credibility by repeating it hence indicating that you agree .if you don’t, say so . If you have no opinion why bother to write anything ?????????????//

  4. My word. I would love it, just love it, if my beloved Mark Noble got called up!
