D-Day for David Moyes

D-Day for David Moyes who must change something

David Moyes must find a way to win against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League today. In many respects, this is the game he dare not lose.

The Hammers manager enjoyed a relatively peaceful pre-match press conference. There was nothing to be learned from his words, as the assembled journalists were either too scared to ask the really pertinent questions or not aware of the severity of his situation. Therefore, nobody in the presser really pushed home the point that this match is vital for the manager.

Moyes looking beat Nottingham Forest

D-Day for David Moyes as he looks to put a bad week behind him.

Moyes will need excellent man-management skills to motivate a West Ham squad who will feel very low following the 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Arsenal. The Hammers manager will also have to formulate a brand new tactical plan which will include more attacking players. The return of Michail Antonio should bolster the Hammers’ attack, but it remains to be seen whether he will be fit or not. Make no mistake about it, Moyes’ job is in jeopardy, and a heavy loss against Forest could be the end for him.

Hammers Chat my first game was West Ham 10-0 Bury . . . seriously!
We than went and bought Bury's central defender 😬⚒️ Irons

I started Hammers Chat alongside my partner in crime Geo back in 2014 and brough in to Claret & Hugh by my old mate Hughie to produce videos a couple of years later.

I give West Ham opinions and interviews on Sky Sports News and even did a bit of moonlighting on BBC Football Focus. Former video and content creator for West Ham United back in the days of Upton Park. I was lucky enough to feature in the documentary broadcast on that final wonderful game at the Boleyn when Winston Reid broke Manchester United hearts.

I frequently feature on BBC Radio 5 Live and once ate a biscuit in Tony Gales shed.

Connoisseur of salted caramel doughnuts and I love a Sloppy Giuseppe pizza although I'm slightly suspicious where the name came from.

When I'm not moaning about West Ham I can be found walking a dog that looks like a sheep and tinkering with pinball machines.

More West Ham moaning is done on a daily basis here 👇👇
