Damning stats but hoodoos there to be broken

Our favourite anoraks at OPTA have put the following data together for your pleasure and edification

Brighton and West Ham played each other sixteen times.
Brighton won 6 and the Irons have won 3 and 7 matches ended in a draw.

Brighton this season have averaged 1.94 goals per match. Whilst we have averaged a paltry 1.39 goals per match thus far

Our last victory at the Amex was in fact our first visit to the newly built arena and came way back in October 2011, courtesy of a goal by Kevin Nolan.

But since then in five visits we have lost three times and drawn twice . It is no better at home either, with just a single win in seven meetings on our hallowed ground

But hoodoos are there to be broken and Saturday would be as good a time as any to break this particular one!
