David Gold has dig at West Brom

GOLDWest Ham co-chairman David Gold appeared to have a slight dig at West Brom’s brand of football under Tony Pullis by making an observation that loyal West Ham fans stayed until the end of the match while Baggies fans didn’t and left early.

Gold wrote on his twitter account. “Second clean sheet on the bounce, first away point, West Ham fans stayed and cheered their team to the very end most WBA fans didn’t. dg”

He added “Today’s game against WBA was poor but we were the better team and should have won. dg”

One fan messaged Gold to say ‘Have to hand it to Slaven. Under enormous pressure, he’s changed things and found a defensive system that works’

Gold replied “Agreed dg”  Today he added: “We are out of the bottom three, a lot to do to climb the table but it feels better. dg”

  1. Yes ? Same as Monday when Huddersfield supporters stayed until the end , and we had a half full stadium. First win and they all f / off ? Lofl? Give it a rest ffs ,
Let’s see how many will be in the stadium v spuds if it goes tits up !! 😉

  2. When will our Chairman keep their big mouths shut, you just look like MUGS!

  3. If West Ham go three down against Tottenham next Saturday I’ll be charging down to the Station – and I’ll bet there’ll be twenty five thousand in front of me!

  4. Keep quite Mr Gold . Our fans will soon start spilling out of the Stadium if we are two down with 20mins to play . Suggest you spend more time having a good look at Bilic and ask yourself a few questions . There is no Transfer Window for Managers . Time is running out to get the things sorted which should have been sorted already . Still in the bottom three with Newcastle & Huddersfield steaming off into the distance .
Stay off twitter , it’s not good for you ., or us for that matter .
Also looks like Pardew is trying to edge Bilic out ,, wonder why !
