David Sullivan has undergone heart surgery and remains in hospital this evening. David Sullivan junior confirmed his father’s situation by tweeting “Dad’s just had heart surgery woke up from operation and is straight back on the phone to sign more players” posting a photo of his dad on the phone in his hospital bed. Jack Sullivan added his own post saying “THE CHAMP! What a man”
West Ham’s official twitter account added “Wishing you a speedy return to full fitness Mr Chairman!”
David Sullivan has previously undergone a quadruple heart bypass surgery in 1994.
Last year Sullivan told the Sun “Please god, I’m still alive in five years — I had a heart bypass when I was 45 — but I’m planning to live to be a 100”

Yeah best wishes to the wee man.We have a section of fans who cant help themselves from running him down or calling him childish names but when all said & done he is only human & life is precious.
