Dawson may get his move

Craig Dawson could be on his way to Wolves before the end of January but before then he has to help us beat them on Saturday.

With Nayef Aguerd fit and Kurt Zouma returning to training with the first team squad this week David Moyes may well decide to allow the defender the move he has been after since summer.

The 32 year old has been keen to return further north for personal reasons over the last few months and if Sky Sports pundit/reporter Dharmesg Sheth is to be believed he could get it this winter.

“West Ham United open to offers for Craig Dawson – but ideally would want a replacement. Wolves back in for Dawson after coming close to signing him in the summer. Dawson into the final six months of his contract,” wrote Sheth on Twitter.

This has been on the cards for a while now and should he leave it will be for a small fee of no more than £1 million,

And one has to believe that given we would still be short at the back it may not be the wisest move to let him go to the midlands.

However, we understand that the club had agreed before selling Issa Diop to Fulham given his determination to leave that Daws woul;d be allowed to this summer if at all possible.
