Declan Rice is excited about the London Derby against the Spuds and more specifically hopefully a clash against their midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele joined the north London club for £55million earlier on this summer from Olympique Lyon.
“I’m really looking forward to playing against Ndombele,” Rice told talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast. “I watched him in the Champions League last season and he looked like a top, top player.
“The French boys here were raving about him, saying what a good player he was, so I’m looking forward to playing against Spurs and looking forward to playing against him.”
Dec couldn’t resist reminding the fans that West Ham were the only team to beat Spurs at their new stadium White Hart Lane last season.
“Everything they’re doing now and the player’s they’ve got, they’ve definitely got the squad now to be challenging up there for titles, and I wouldn’t put it past them.”
