Declan Rice has revealed he is homesick from his Hammers teammates and facetime’s them most days.
He said he speaks to Mark Noble, Ryan Fredericks and Aaron Cresswell each and every day.
Dec told Talksport that he misses them as it has been so long since the end of the season, saying that he is missing the banter and having a laugh in pre-season.
The 22-year-old described Nobes as like a proud dad saying he calls Rice’s dad on the phone all the time and has just done a piece on the West Ham website.
But ahead of the Hammers return it’s probably fair to say that De is about to play in the biggest match of his life tomorrow evening when he could become the fourth hammer to win a major international trophy.
And imagine he welcome back he will get from us all should that happen so go and do for all of us Dec.
The West Ham captain in his last season as a Hammer described Rice as like his little brother telling WHUFC.com:
“I’ve got such a close relationship with him and his family and it goes beyond football really. I see him as a little brother, and we just hope obviously that he can keep on playing the way he does, keep winning games and hopefully, in a week’s time, that he lifts that trophy, because that would be very special.”
“Noble is like a proud dad.”
“We speak everyday. I’ve been on FaceTime to the other lads most days at the Euros.”@_DeclanRice reveals how Mark Noble and #WHUFC stars have been helping him. pic.twitter.com/nDabEcjIst
