Declan drops in on AJ fight

We all know of course that Declan Rice is a knockout!

But last night he was spotted inside the SSE Stadium where he watched Anthony Joshua do exactly that to the Bulgarian 39 year old ( some say 41) Kubrat Pulev.

After leading the Irons to a fab win over Leeds on Friday night, fight fan Dec enjoyed his relax time by catching up with the scrap and AJ and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in the dressing room.

The British fighter was taken into the ninth round before finally seeing off the older guy who was in enormous trouble in the third when he hit the canvas under a vicious attack from Joshua,

But the Brit boy failed to follow up and finish the job off until six rounds later but when he did it was as complete a performance as theĀ  footballing displays are from the Hammers midfielder.

We don’t doubt Dec will get a ticket or invite to the next scrap – which is likely to be the long awaited confrontation with Tyson Fury.

Could well be a different story entirely! LOL

  1. Does Dec have immunity to COVID? No need for this risky behaviour.

  2. Have we dropped the mask wearing in public rule?

  3. Not sure how his teammates, manager or club will feel about him flouting covid rules ?

  4. Dec’s not a hermit, give the lad a break!
If I was his age, I’d also want to live a little.

    • Definitely, but not at other people’s risk. My grandson is the same age and also works very hard in the NHS. He loves to enjoy himself but has to wear a mask in public. Can’t have selective rules cos Dec’s a famous footballer.

    • He is a role model, this isn’t the first time he has broken covid rules, he was away on holiday in Greece with his Chelsea mates, making the mistake once is ok but if it becomes a pattern, nip it in the bud. He is a good kid but he is putting his team mates at risk thats not ok.
