Declan fumes at Europa ref

Declan Rice was filmed protesting against the referee’s decisions in the second leg of West Ham’s Europa League semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

It was a tetchy affair in Germany, with the Hammers ultimately losing the game 1-0 and crashing out of the competition.

Aaron Cresswell was sent off in the first half after committing a foul as the last man, while manager David Moyes was later shown a red card for kicking the ball at a ball boy.

Rice was clearly fuming after the game, with a video posted by Oddschanger on Twitter showing exactly what he thought of the Spanish referee’s decisions.

In what can be heard in the clip, the England midfielder launches an expletive-laden rant at the official, even insinuating that he may have been bribed.

He said: “Ref! Ref! It’s so poor. All night, it’s so bad. How can you be that bad? Honestly! You’ve probably been f****** paid! It’s f****** corruption.”

It remains to be seen if there is any kind of repercussion, with UEFA likely to issue some sort of fine to the midfielder.

If the Hammers do qualify for Europe next season, be it either the Europa League or the Europa Conference League, Moyes will be suspended from the first game, while Rice could also be sanctioned should Uefa take action.
