Declan is a very happy Hammer

Declan Rice has been discussing his relationship with manager David Moyes and it’s all great news for Hammers fans as he explains how lucky he is to have him as a boss.

Despite the regular stuff linking him with moves here, there and everywhere, Dec has made it clear he could hardly be happier with his life

The news could hardly come at a better time ahead of the Spurs match which is always one of the most competitive of the season among two deadly rivals.

We all want to believe that Dec will be around for a very long time to come and with the club explaining there has never been a bid for him it’s all good at the moment.

Speaking to the official club website he makes it clear that he and the manager have a special bond and that he loves performing in fromt of the club’s great fans.

He said: “The manager has just said to me to go out there and do what I do best and given me the confidence to go out there and perform,” Rice said about his relationship with Moyes (whufc.com).

“To be fair, that’s all you can as for from a manager. I’m really lucky that I’ve got him as a manager and that we’ve got a really close relationship.

“Captaining West Ham in Europe is a really special moment every time, putting the armband on and walking out with thousands of us in the stadium.”
