David Moyes insists Declan Rice would not be sold even if an offer of £100m came in for his star player saying he is worth much more than that.
When asked whether he worried about the interest in Rice, Moyes said: “No I don’t, because there was a bargain to be got with Declan at £100m. That bargain’s now gone. So we have a lot of really good players at this football club. I think while you’re building and developing, people might always come and look at your players.But it’s good that they are because that tells us that they’re doing well.”
These comments come just seven months on from when Moyes claimed that Rice would only go for a fee of £100m (Sky Sports).

Jack Grealish holds the current record transfer fee at £106m when he joined Manchester United last summer followed by Romelu Lukaku joining Chelsea for £104m this season. Maybe Delcan Rice could become the third £100m+ player in the Premier League smashing the current reecord.
When I initially heard the supposed Declan Rice fee of £100M being bandied about and David Moyes saying £100M minimum, I wasn’t entirely sure if it was my allegiance to West Ham that made this sound logical. Roll on another season and my nagging doubt has been replaced by Absolute Certainty.
Not only is Declan worth £100M PLUS, but he is also probably close to being the best player in his position in the world. The Scary thing is, he is improving at a phenomenal rate and he is nowhere near his peak at 22 yrs old. In terms of ability, Declan is a rare breed of player and we are so fortunate to have him here.
