Fabian Balbuena has hinted that he could leave West Ham in the summer.
The defender has fallen out of favour under boss David Moyes and despite the manager claiming they will talk about possible deals it seems the Paraguayan is ready to call it a day.
The 29-year-old has not been in the team since the 2-2 draw with Brighton back in December.
Since then, he has struggled with injury and has also been on the bench for the last six games.
He has not been all that missed, with the Hammers now in an enviable position to qualify for the Champions League.
Balbuena has spoken to Paraguayan outlet Futbol A Lo Grande, via Sport Witness, and he has confirmed that he is more than willing to return to Corinthians, the club from which he moved to the Hammers back in 2018.
He said: “It has been almost three years since I left Corinthians and I still feel very loved. In the future you never know, I could go back but we’ll see at the end of the season.”
Balbuena, though, says that he is not currently aware of any bids from any clubs in signing him.
And he is ready to focus all of his energy on the Irons between now and May as the European race goes to the wire.
He added: “I’m not aware of anything.
“I just focus on finishing the season well and then I’ll see what happens.”
