Defensive midfielder midfielder offered to Hammers

|

A report by France Football claims West Ham have been offered 25-year-old FC Nantes defensive midfielder Abdoulaye Touré.

The reports says certain scouts have in the past made comparisons between Touré and Cheikhou Kouyaté.

The article also claims West Ham like Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson but the Frenchman has no intention of quitting his club this month.

The outlet talks of “concrete interest” from the Hammers for defensive midfielder Touré, who is under contract until 2022.

If Nantes are to sell this month, they want at aleast €15m while West Ham are reported to prefer a loan with an option to buy.

Born  in Nantes, France, Touré made his Ligue 1 debut with hometown club FC Nantes on the opening game of the 2013–14 season on 11 August 2013 against SC Bastia.  While born in France he is of Guinean descent. He was a youth international for France. However, he pledged his international allegiance to Guinea in March 2018.

The reason the board are looking for loans with options to buy is because that are not confident we are going to stay up so therefore they don’t want another player on a big contract if relegation comes
That is very very worrying indeed

Ridiculous they cant get any of there targets because they simply wont pay ,this Is why its always loans..this is not me being a board hater by the way it’s just simple truth..
We will definitely go down if they don’t sign players now..
And then they will wonder why they didn’t gamble on paying up for the targets because they will lose alot more when we go down…..its getting very toxic now again and the board really havnt helped with these interviews and lack of spending again…..

This is exactly the type of player we are desperate for. If it’s true, get it done. Please.

As Kip says if you want him offer money not loan deals.Nantes of all clubs will not be messed around. They are still in a legal battle with Cardiff over Emiliano Sala so coming in with this kind of cheap trick is like a slap in the face.A week to go and it does not need a brain surgeon to work out either the squad is strengthened especially in midfield or there is the very real possibility this team goes down. All that is left after January are the dregs ie free agents in their mid 30s nobody wants. We seem to go down this path far too often and the result is plain for everybody to see.
