Deja Vu feeling as Sturridge is linked yet again

sturridgeWest Ham are in pole position to secure the signing of Daniel Sturridge in teh Summer claim the Sun newspaper.  While the claim helps the Sun stand up their story that the extra funds would help Liverpool buy Borussia Dortmund hotshot Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang it has little other credibility other than what has been repeated many times before.

ClaretandHugh was previously told there is reluctance from the club to get into protracted discussions with the Merseysiders  who have a reputation for pushing clubs to the limit on transfer deals.

Sturridge is linked to the Hammers every time his position comes under the media microscope so it is surprise that the Hammers were mentioned again in the Aubameyang story.

A club insider previously told ClaretandHugh on Sturridge: “They are a very hard club with which to do business as they demonstrated in the Andy Carroll transfer and again over Christian Benteke. They push for the absolute maximum and are pretty unrelenting.”

  1. Whenever I read articles like this I find myself asking myself, what would Jean Baudrillard and Michel Foucault think?

I love it when 2 birds fall out. They sound a right pair of sorts 🙂 🙂

That’s a gentle pee take by the way cos I like Chandos he’s one of only 2 authors, apart from our Seanie, on the wetties site I read to the bottom.

    • Dont start opening that can of worms again. It was a major source of debate lastnight on there. But it beats Doomsey defending Allardyce…AGAIN!!

  2. Not for me – too injury prone and too fond of himself.

    Berardi all day, every day.

  3. Young Jack Sparrow is the other. Hughie should headhunt him for C&H from the wets and make him Assistant Associate Deputy Editor. 🙂

He writes a good article does that lad.

  4. Amazing that we are linked with someone who has only managed 20 prem games per season on average, for Liverpool. On the other hand his coring rate is excellent.
Too many injuries, so let Liverpool push someone else to the limit.

  5. He appears to have lost his edge.Too many injuries & a seeming lack of appetite for the fight.I would give him a serve.

  6. Talented player who is as injury prone as our best two forwards, so no thanks for that and his post goal dance routine
