Demand for West Ham away tickets is falling

|

Demand for West Ham away tickets is falling compared to the start of the season.

The Wolves mid-week away game went to Season ticket general sale after priority point holders failed to snap up the remaining tickets from an allocation of 3,000.

Southampton away is a similar tale with 90% of the 3,345 allocation selling out to season ticket holders with just 2 or more priority points. An all time low for a Southern away game this season.

Even the London derby against Crystal Palace has sold out to a relativity low number of priority points when compared to other away London derbies. Season ticket holder with 10 or more priority points  snapped up the remaining tickets 93% of the 2,866 allocation at Selhurst park with 7% (201 tickets) going to a general season ticket ballot.

Whether the lower demand is linked to the recent results, the weather, TV coverage, change of kick off time and/or the change of away ticket policy is hard to say but possibly it is a combination of all of the above.
