Devastated AC makes feeling known

Andy Carroll has gone onto Twitter to explain how devastated he feels after suffering yet another injury.

No doubt the knockers will be out in force but it would be a very hard hearted individual who would not feel some real sympathy for the striker.

AC was rapidly returning to his best when he was forced off with what turns out to be a hamstring injury after a quarter of an hour.

And club sources later confirmed that the ill fated hit man faces another lay-off of between four and six weeks.

The player, bitterly disappointed, declared on Twitter: “Words can’t describe how I feel today!!😡

All of us at ClaretandHugh send him best wishes for a speedy recovery.

  1. Feel gutted for the boy !
So many injury to P/L players , all with the same problem ,? Maybe being to fit can harm you,
There’s a cause there somewhere , someone ,somewhere needs to find it ! Look at Liverpool its decimated their side, it may be just down to a pre- match warm up on a cold night , ?
Its happened and the game goes on ! No point moaning in the negative ! We have to put up with it as we already have. 5th ain’t bad so far is it !!

  2. As empathetic as I am to AC’s injury dilemma, I doubt if anyone could honestly say that it wasn’t on the cards.Unfortunately we are stuck with an injury prone striker who absorbs so much of the wages bill.I was hoping for salvation from Newcastle but that’s no longer possible.A real conundrum for the club.AC has obviously been nursed back to full fitness but again his body cannot take the rigors of being a consistent P.L player.Sad but ultimately that’s life.

  3. totally agree with Roman, for how much longer can this go on?? surely this has to be the time for harsh decisions, nothing against AC but we cant go on with him!

  4. An $85k a week player is one you should build a team around. He is not someone you can do that with. He tries hard but has become a massive liabilty.

  5. What do you suggest we do with him Dougie. No team will want him while injured and he nearly always is.

  6. O T. Second last on MOTD again.

  7. very true mooro! i dont know, are clubs insured for this kind of situation, or is it just bad luck and we are stuck with it?

  8. We need to bring in a genuine replacement now,get him fit and offload him in the summer,
Hopefully he will come back get some goals and keep his price above £10 million
Although when fit I like him he is to risky to keep on
