DG happy for Jack and ‘Bazza’

barry-fry-and-david-gold-3694903David Gold could hardly be more pleased to see former Hammer Jack Collison team up with one of his best pals in the game – Barry Fry.

Gold and Fry have remained great down down the years despite the Peterborough Director of Football being sacked by him soon after the Davids took over at Birmingham City.

Collison has signed a one-year contract with the League One club as reported by BBC Sport and Fry tweeting his best wishes to the midfielder said: “He’s one of the nicest men in football.

“Barry and myself have remained very close friends down the years and I really hope the move woks out for both parties.”

  1. Excellent – glad he’s got a deal. Won’t forget his two goals in the away leg against Cardiff any time soon 🙂

  2. Blimey I had one look at the photo and thought we’d opted for Barry Fry,shame really Kevin would’ve been happy an old bloke who’s never won anything with a really large ego.

On a serious note good luck to Jack Collison,a true gentleman and a talent yet to show his full potential.

  3. They should open a chip shop together, The Gold’n’Fry 😉
