DG: “It’s amazing… I can’t really take it in”

|

david-goldDavid Gold admitted immediately after the game that he is struggling to get his head around this amazing West Ham team.

Having seen an entirely different level performance from Dimi Payet change the game at Bournemouth he told ClaretandHugh exclusively: “It’s amazing. I’m still unable to take it in properly – it was a wonderful second half performance.”

He accepted the first 45 minutes was well below par but added: “We were totally in control until Andy Carroll was forced off.

“That disrupted us but Slaven must have got into them in a big way at half time because the change was awesome.

“We see a wonder goal from Dimi who then set up the second for Enner who the decides at his free kick ‘anything Payet can do I can do better’ and that was one ferocious shot.

It’s all so amazing. It really is so hard to take in and when you see it as our fourth win on the trot and ninth undefeated it’s just fabulous.

Remember too there was no Winston Reid, Manu Lanzini and Diafra Sakho – we are really in a fantastic place.”

It’s amazing DG and you and your partner have made it happen with your money,
Maybe we need 1 more forward to cover Carroll and Sakho in January,
I hope we don’t but if we do bite the bullet and bring in someone amazing

Thanks DG & DS . Great Squad, class and commitment throughout.

Thanks Slav for the “spot on interviews and reactions”…as classy as those two free kicks.

Great turn around in the match last night , 2nd half was inspiring . Big thanks to the Dave’s for having the vision to take us forwards . Don’t let Zarate leave please , we must try to keep him . He just needs a new agent i reckon . Add him to Payet ,Valencia , Lanzini & Cresswell and we have some of the best dead ball strikers in the PL . Carrol injury was the only low point in a great result .All the more reason for keeping the squad together . COYI

To be honest i think a lot of us more “senior” supporters are finding it hard to take in, life seems so much better!. My only regret is that i am now retired and cant give it large to the Gooners and Spurs supporters i used to work with, COYI.
